SCOPE OF THIS POLICY
Any natural or legal person who has visited the Tradeswift website/platform or mobile application, and/or initiated or intends to initiate the account opening process with Tradeswift, falls under the scope of this Privacy Policy.
Tradeswift complies with all applicable provisions of the Information Technology Act, 2000, and follows rules, regulations, and procedural guidelines issued by SEBI and other regulatory authorities governing Tradeswift and its affiliated intermediaries.
COLLECTION AND USE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
Tradeswift may collect personal information to provide services through its web-based platforms or mobile applications.
While opening a trading and demat account, you may be required to provide Sensitive Personal Data or Information (as defined under the Information Technology Act, 2000) for the purpose of KYC compliance and in accordance with the Prevention of Money Laundering Act, 2002.
This information may include, but is not limited to:
• Login credentials such as passwords
• Financial details such as bank account, debit/credit card or other payment instrument details
• Personal details such as name, contact number, gender, date of birth, residential and employment address
• Family details such as father’s, mother’s or spouse’s name
• Identity and address proof documents including photograph, PAN, passport, driver’s license, Aadhaar (voluntarily)
• Signature proof or photograph
Such information is collected solely for the purposes of:
• Identity verification and background checks as per KYC and AML norms
• Personalizing services offered to you
• Communicating relevant products and services
• Providing updates related to subscribed services
• Legal, regulatory, and audit requirements
Under Regulation 5 of the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011, Tradeswift provides registered users access to a readable copy of their personal information upon request.
Tradeswift retains such information as required by law and regulatory authorities, solely for service delivery, compliance, audit, and legitimate business purposes.
AADHAAR USER CONSENT POLICY
Voluntary Disclosure
Providing Aadhaar is completely voluntary and is required only for completing online account opening and digitally signing account opening forms.
Aadhaar may be used as an alternative proof of address instead of a passport or driver’s license, at your discretion.
You may also choose the offline account opening process, which does not require Aadhaar submission.
Tradeswift does not store Aadhaar information.
During online account opening, Aadhaar details are not entered on the Tradeswift platform. Aadhaar information is accessed via DigiLocker, where Tradeswift acts as a registered requester and receives only the following details, subject to your consent:
• Last four digits of Aadhaar or Virtual ID (VID)
• Full name
• Date of birth
• Gender
• Address
• Photograph
DigiLocker is operated by the National eGovernance Division under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India.
Aadhaar details are also shared with Digiotech Solutions Pvt. Ltd. solely for the purpose of e-signing account opening documents. Digiotech does not share Aadhaar data with Tradeswift. Digiotech is a licensed e-Sign Application Service Provider compliant with UIDAI and CCA guidelines.
COLLECTION AND USE OF NON-PERSONAL INFORMATION
Tradeswift may collect non-personal information that does not identify you individually, including:
• IP address
• Browser type
• Internet service provider
• Referring URLs
• Pages visited and time spent on pages
Tradeswift may use Google Analytics to analyze website usage. These analytics tools use cookies that collect non-personally identifiable information only.
USE OF COOKIES
Tradeswift may use cookies to enhance user experience. Cookies store non-personal information such as browser type, operating system, and clickstream data.
